The Club Committee: Meetings are generally held every other week on the MK campus at lunchtime - the programme of events is published in the news section and reminders sent out to the club mailing list (contact the Chairman if you would like your name added). The annual membership fee is £5.00 for current staff and students and £10.00 p/a for all others - membership forms are available in Word, RTF or PDF format. Members can attend club meetings for free whereas non-members are required to pay 50p; you also have to be a member in order to hire any of the club's equipment. Some facilities are available to members: a studio flash lighting system, a halogen still/video lighting kit, backgrounds, reflectors, tripod, etc. Meetings are normally held every other Tuesday - the venue will be confirmed on an event-by-event basis. Please see the news pages for lists and replays of events and meetings. Details of forthcoming events are always posted to the club email list - contact the chairman if you would like to be included. Members of the club are experienced in both traditional film and digital photography. We welcome new members of any ability and look forward to suggestions for future meetings. We may also provide a program of outdoor talks and demonstrations if this is requested. Members have interests in a wide range of subjects from adventure sports to natural history and we may be able to suggest places to go or events that provide good photographic opportunities: see the photos from recent events. Club members can also promote their own work through this list of member galleries. Many club members are well travelled and have extensive collections of photos of an enormous variety of subjects. The club can therefore be a useful source for images, often able to undercut expensive photo libraries. If you would like to make a request for particular subject, please use the contact form.
